Was a great place to work until acquisition - Director Informa TechTarget Employee Review

Pros

- Use to have unlimited PTO but suspect that’s going away - Use to have non-micromanaging managers but that may be a thing of the past as well - Good career growth (at least their use to be unclear if that will be the case in the future but maybe since they just laid off so many people)

Cons

It’s a tail as old as time, once the acquisition happened things went very very wrong. Revenue started to crash and burn and then leadership did all the wrong things. - Company just did major layoffs without talking to management/people who knew employees, so what they based their decision on, I have no idea - got rid of very key people that know how the products work - No raises last year and raises this year highly unlikely due to revenue numbers - Leadership is disconnected and doesn’t seem to know what they are doing - Constant company meetings with no information and employees posting horrible messages about how frustrated they are with the company - They don’t want anyone working remotely and they’ve essentially said that employees on remote contracts won’t have the ability to grow even though they don’t actually have enough space for everyone to be in the office

Pros

Honestly, none since the merger.

Cons

Where should one start: - For starter, I applied to a job and spoke the hiring manager, and then nothing. It has been over a month (and I work for the company in another department). - The Chief People Officer needs professional help. On her first call with the company (the TechTarget follks), she called herself "Ruthless" Ruth. She is in a HR. - The pay is terrible. I think everyone can agree to that. - The disconnect between managers/executives and the people working for them. Honestly, it just seem like Gary does not care about the people in the US. - The Q and A are a joke. They had a company wide meeting yesterday, and it was just management patting themselves on the back.
