Pros

Cons
This company has a sink or swim mentality, training is completely absent, Some colleagues withhold knowledge or information to ensure their job security. The company depend on cardinal knowledge from tenured employees but many have left due to low moral. Management is cut throat and there is a gross lack of support. IP expects you to wear many hats regardless if it is outside your scope of experience or knowledge. Their past due backlog is excessive because they lack parts to build products, either because they have a credit hold with the supplier or no one is ordering them. Some orders were five months passed due and still did not have parts. Part shortages and lack of manpower drives overtime. There is no structure, no standards and few policies to enforce. There is no focus on safety. Fire extinguishers are blocked by carts. Some of them are missing inspection tags and have not been inspected for months. PPE is unavailable but if you cut yourself they do have band-aids. 5S is non-existant and nothing was identified. Insurance is very expensive compared to other employers and coverage is terrible. They negotiated three weeks of paid vacation up front but retracted it after I started working.
