I only lasted a week and a half - Café Manager Indigo Play Employee Review

All of it...Management was friendly at first but it was all surface level. I was told that I was respected while simultaneously being gaslit and disrespected. I was hired to be Cafe manager and started a coffee shop from scratch for the company and yet was micromanaged constantly and my (successful) ideas were questioned and swept under the rug. I started being asked my opinion on things by the owner who then disregarded what I said just to ask for a male's opinion who ended up saying the same thing I did. I was told my management that they "apologized for my tone" in an email I sent to a business partner of the company when all I said in this email was friendly and direct. When addressing valid concerns, I was told that they then felt like they had to walk on eggshells around me because I was constantly being offended by things. This is gaslighting and transference of blame. I was told not to question things and to "just do it with a smile on your face" whenever I had professional concerns. Multiple times my work was taken credit for by the owners and my name wasn't mentioned when presenting work that I had personally done. I was asked several times to do work and then send it over to the GM for her to put her name on my work and send it out. Upon calling out sick one day for a chronic medical issue, I was told to go to urgent care to get a doctor's note and to still go to work anyways because they were busy that day. After putting in my 2 week notice, I was told just not to come in for my upcoming shifts. When I went into the office to collect my things, it was clear that my desk had been rummaged through and some things were missing.
