Pros

I worked in a very dynamic position that gave me a lot of really great work experience and offered a lot of flexibility to my schedule. My manager and team members were wonderful to work with and we all worked well together

Cons

Pay is too low: this was my main reason for leaving. Very small annual raises (2% or 3%). Some departments can be very toxic. Way to many EMR’s for a hospital of its size, makes it difficult to find claim information and documentation. Most of revenue cycle has been on a hiring freeze for almost a year. There was a lot of talk in my last year about how poorly the company is doing financially. It is frustrating for employees to hear that while reading in the news how IU Health made a $400 million donation to the school of medicine.

Pros

very flexible schedule, leadership is good at communicating and showing appreciation. They also don't allow others to treat coworkers poorly. Insurance is affordable with decent coverage, more PTO than many companies.

Cons

pay is low, increases are very small
