Pros

Focus on Niche, High-Value Technology Stack. Supportive Management and Collaborative Team Culture. Healthy Work-Life Balance and Sustainable Pace. Standardized Benefit Package (e.g., Medical Coverage)

Cons

Below-Market Compensation Structure. Mandatory On-site Requirement (Limited Location Flexibility). Limited Global Talent Acquisition Scope (Visa/Immigration Constraints). High Reliance on Core Individuals in Small Teams : While the team is collaborative, specialization in a small structure means that the unexpected departure of even one key employee can lead to significant knowledge gaps and project risks.

Pros

Many of the people are kind, collaborative, and willing to help one another. There was flexibility with remote work, and the hybrid schedule offered some balance. For employees based in New Jersey, the in-office lunches were a nice perk.

Cons

The biggest challenge was leadership. There seemed to be a disconnect between executive decision-making and day-to-day realities, and experienced employees were not always trusted or empowered to do their jobs. Certain members of leadership had a negative impact on morale, and strong employees appeared to leave while less effective decisions continued to be reinforced. The culture often felt reactive instead of well-led, and there were concerns about transparency, accountability, and operational discipline.
