If you want a soul-less job, then this is the perfect place for you. Once upon a time, Indeed was a great place to work, then it went downhill in the past year. Here are the reasons why:
1. You work so hard to get in big deals across the line, only for the model itself to not allow you to reap the rewards.
2. Commission, forget it - you work hard to walk away with peanuts
3. The culture of the office is in shambles, no music, no talking to each other, if you are in the kitchen making tea for more than 2 minutes, you will get questioned
4. Incentives are fun but not when you land a big deal and your reward is to high-five your team mates
5. No leadership from management
6. Senior leaders that swear at reps and use vile language, don't get reprimanded
7. A lot of school yard bullying
8. HR want you to address thing with them.. they probably only want to do that so they can gage what head count they need for all the unhappy reps that are thinking of leaving.
The list goes on....
One thing is for sure, you will make the business money, but in the end you won't get rewarded. If you feel like free food and health care is for you, then by all means, this job is for you. But if you want a career and make your mark, then consider looking elsewhere as you are just going to waste your time.
Those that have left are in more successful roles, doing what they love and killing it. You can build up resilience by working here.
The positive reviews on here are not true at all. I read them and the only people that talk that way are managers trying to salvage what is left of the place. A lot of the negative reviews are deleted as Glassdoor is a sister company of Indeed. The negative reviews were addressed by the senior leadership team and they said that they are not inacturate. Think about it, why would someone bother to write a negative review unless there was truth to it.
