Pros

- Tech for good company! - Interviewers always followed up / provided feedback on each step of the interview process - this was key for me since most companies these days don't even respond/acknowledge your application, much less give you feedback on it - Incredibly transparent company - regular updates on goals/company direction, targets, performance outcomes etc.; outcome-focused feedback culture; visibility into salary/raise decisions - Onboarding process was structured and supportive - designed to help new hires contribute quickly - Get to work with other experienced and motivated individuals

Cons

- Completing your task list doesn't necessarily get you good outcomes; you have to be willing to try new things/change the process/find and implement your own solutions (can be a good thing if you like the challenge, but not a good fit for people who want repetition/consistency in their work overtime). Inato is a startup, so the outcomes of the work we do has a direct impact on the success of the company.

Pros

Without a doubt, what sets Inato apart is their commitment to taking care of their employees and the culture in place. The leadership team is incredibly supportive, collaborative and they are experts in their fields. We are a mission driven company and this contributes to our high employee satisfaction rate. We are an early stage start up - this is a great environment for employees who want to have substantial opportunities for impact within the organization and who want to develop in their roles & gain valuable experience. What would take one employee 15 years to learn and gain as far as experience for a larger company, another employee would accomplish the same in 5 years at Inato. Our policy of full internal transparency - employees are regularly updated on what is going on.

Cons

Your days will be full! We absolutely believe in work/life balance but when you are "clocked in" you will be busy! - not necessarily a con but not a fit for everyone. We really encourage feedback - you will receive and be expected to give it, often! If you are not comfortable with this - it may not be the right fit. We anticipate rapid growth over the next few years - this will be exciting for some and difficult for others as it will mean lots of change and ambiguity at times. We are a small company right now (35 employees)- and while we are over 50% female, we could/should be doing better as far as our DE&I efforts. This is on our radar however and we are putting steps in place to attract more diverse talent.
