Morale is extremely low. Management is completely unorganized and has no idea what they're doing. We seem to get a new manager every 30 days with zero communication and we don't even know who our GM is. We used to make more money, and then they decreased the pay for everyone across the board (now paying minimum wage!). Trying to find new people they can pay less, and trying to push out the old people. Most of the good employees have left. They randomly change the policies/procedures and don't tell anybody - assume that employees are just supposed to know about these changes despite there being no communication. They post things to Paylocity that are clearly AI generated and it's very obvious they don't have a desire to get to know the employees at all. It's all just cogs in your machine. And with all the decreases in quality, they still increase charges for members! It was a good gym while it was still Cal Fit and now that private equity has taken over the gym is pathetic. The members feel it and the employees feel it. Lately I feel like they want the employees to show up with a good attitude and with bells on and always be willing to go the extra mile, but then they also want to pay minimum wage and clearly don't give a crap about their employees. You can't have it both ways!
