Pros

They are small, which I think may limit the damage caused by Imperial Contracting LLC to any employee that they decide isn't falling in line.

Cons

They openly and actively, via email communications, discrimininate against applicants by the applicants physical appearance and NOT on job qualifications of the candidates. They treat their employees horrible who complain about this practice. They retaliate against employees who bring up questions of sexual harassment. They do NOT investigate the claim(s) but retaliate against the complainent. Even after that person leaves employment due to the extreme hostile work environment by NOT sending the goverment required paperwork in a timely fashion and accurately. As of today, 11/1/18, this paperwork is 18 days past due. They have an employee in management who has a sever anger problem which they only address by repeated sending him to anger management (for at least 5 years now). If it hasn't worked yet the problem may not be addressed by classes. Let him throw his phone and scream and swear because he brings in money. Don't work here, their business plan is to work the employees as hard as possible before they find another employer. Money is their most important factor in all decisions.

Pros

This is a great company to work for! The culture of the company is very healthy - it's a pleasure to work with my fellow employees. It really feels like I'm working in a team. There isn't any 'us vs. them' mentality to have to worry about. Imperial Contracting is not afraid of change and welcomes new ideas from those within the company. My skills have really expanded since working for Imperial Contracting. The managers seem to find a person's strong points and utilize their skills while also encouraging them to push themselves, and their own boundaries and expand their knowledge wherever possible. I really enjoy coming into work everyday because I know during the work week I'll get a mix of assignments/tasks that are familiar, new and sometimes challenging.

Cons

The company seems to be going through some growing pains which can make the work/life balance a bit uneven, but we're working through and things are getting better all the time.
