Most Co-Workers were nice. All of them were contract

Nurses on 2nd floor had to constantly leave the floor to fax to pharmacy or doctors because they did not want to enable the copier on 2nd floor to fax. 50% of the time there was only 1 nurse on 2nd floor. Administrator would print schedule showing fully staffed. When people did show up and we called the staffing agency we were informed that the Administrator cancelled that person 2 days prior. This was a daily thing. Third shift only had 1 LPN (NO RN) and 3 CNA to handle a two story facility with over 50 residents. When I worked there everyone there was contract except for the Administrator and her assistant. The administrator hired a RN to be the DON, but the this nurse could not go on the carts because she had a restricted license. One time 2 nurses called out and the DON had to go on the cart. She started freaking out because she had 14 residents and 3 CNAs "this is impossible. No one can do this!!!" She was literally shaking. I was on the 2nd floor with 30 resident's and 1 CNA. My shift from from 6am to 2:30pm. The on coming nurse was 1 hours late and then did not want to take my floor, so she walked out. I was the only nurse on the floor. They did not find a replacement until 8pm.
