7yYes! Our people are awesome and one of the reasons we opened an office in Raleigh is to draw on the great talent pools in the area without having to engage in bay area talent wars. We aren't perfect but we do our best to offer competitive salary and benefits as well as a fun office environment. And just to set the record straight, it's a federal law, otherwise known as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), not companies or managers, that determines whether positions are considered hourly or salaried. Companies are required to comply with FLSA or be fined. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your time with IXL and wish you the best.
