Pros

The place's atmosphere is great, the products are great, the paid holidays are nice, and the sales equipment is ok.

Cons

This list is going to be a little longer than one would hope. I had high hopes coming into the job. I know it was like almost any other sales position, it is what you make of it. However, they do a deceitful sales job to their prospective employees. You are lead to believe that you are getting a $400 a week salary, when in fact it is a $10 an hour wage. No biggie. However, it is holy untrue that you can make $70k here, or 60, or 50, or even 35, the top sales person there is nowhere near $2500 a month. I had inquired quite diligently before accepting the job about pay. I was told several times, by several others that an average rep could easily make $4k a month. This is flat out false ... not even close. I asked about turnover on the sales floor. I was told that they had very little turnover. This too turned out to be a lie. They have very, very high turnover. The leads they give are not really warm persay, let alone qualified. They meet the definition of a warm lead, but are more akin to act like a cold lead. Add to this, some of the leads they do have, most have been burnt through and contacted several times, to the point they do not even answer their phone fro the area code you calling from. Or, the lead will be dropped on the sales floor to two different people, where I have had on several occasions been told that they had already been contacted earlier in the week by someone else. Another matter is, they are asking yo to pitch to people while they are at work, and these phone calls can go on for 25-30 minutes. There is not a chance that an employer would let their employee sit on a personal phone call for that long. It is a telemarketing job, through and through.

Pros

Comfortable work environment, benefits, safety precautions, salary, work culture, office snacks/coffee, encouraging work environment. This is my first month working at ITU Online and they are very open to new ideas on how to grow as a company. Despite the pandemic, thoughtful but safe work culture events are starting to come into play here, such as office get togethers for holidays and other team building activities on the horizon. Any employees who prefer to work safely from home are given specific accommodations. They also are quick to fulfill ergonomic and other needs (additional training, for example) to help employees function better. The base pay is good and if you are a sales person, I am told you get great commission and even regular office workers get weekly bonuses when sales goals are met. It is also nice to see that we really care about changing the lives of students by giving them quality learning materials so they can pass their certifications while saving money, which is crucial right now. I look forward to my growing my career here!

Cons

Honestly, the only one is HQ is in a little office complex that is cut off and a bit of a pain to access/leave to get food during breaks, so bring a lunch or order delivery
