Pros

- No product is perfect, but what Ironscales has here is truly a good product. It needs some further work on detection rate, but honestly, it's better than most offerings in the industry. - Some of the people I have had the pleasure of working with have been nothing short of excellent, both on a professional and personal level. - Compensation was competitive, and I enjoyed the work-life balance.

Cons

- Extremely toxic snake-like behaviour from mid-management and C level. They will lie to your face, promise the world and deliver nothing. If you get on their wrong side, it's a matter of time before they scapegoat you out of the business. The culture they will try to sell you during interviews, masks a lot of the drama that occurs in the background. - Lack of real direction. They have a good product, but instead of focusing on what makes it different and improving that aspect, the company constantly chases new features that the industry isn't really after. - There is still this idea going around of IS being a "start-up"... It was founded in 2014 and has not made it very far in the last 11 years, it's NOT a start-up by any stretch. If you need a reference for comparison, look at their main competitor that also utilises AI tech for email security. - Ironscales loves to burn bridges, it's almost in their DNA. Don't make the mistake that I did of ignoring the other negative reviews on here, they are true.

Pros

I’ve been with IRONSCALES for a while now in a management role, and I can honestly say it’s one of the most refreshing work environments I’ve ever experienced. Everyone here—from entry-level newcomers to senior executives—lives and breathes a strong culture of collaboration, support, and constant innovation. The leadership genuinely cares about the team, which is evident in how they prioritize personal development and celebrate achievements, big or small. Leadership encourages new ideas and trusts employees to take ownership of projects. There’s a genuine focus on training and skill-building, with regular opportunities to advance. It’s energizing to be surrounded by people who genuinely believe in our mission of stopping phishing attacks and making email security accessible to all. Senior management is always open to feedback, fosters open communication, and shares company updates frequently. Even with the fast pace of the cybersecurity space, I’ve always felt my well-being was valued.

Cons

As with many fast-growing companies, the pace of change can be intense. It’s exciting, but it also means we’re constantly adapting to new processes and structures.
