Pros

The recruitment and induction processes were well-structured and professional. The induction included several 1:1 remote sessions with department heads, to aid understanding of their team remit and the nature of likely interaction with my own department. However, most importantly, this enabled me to quickly build a supportive network of internal contacts. So I was ready to partner our customers as effectively and efficiently as possible, from the outset. So far, I have been most impressed by the company culture where the importance of employee self-care and well-being is consistently encouraged and enabled. As evidenced, by the wide range of benefits offered, a generous entitlement of annual leave and charitable work days. And a permeating ethos of collaboration is reflected by all team-members. Since everyone (across the hierarchical spectrum) has been incredibly friendly and keen to assist. So while Iris continues along it's incredible growth trajectory, it's employees are also encouraged to grow. And knowing that you and your team, can make a positive difference, fosters an energised and motivational (yet supportive) work-environment, that I would highly recommend.

Cons

Some work needed to standardise internal systems, which is already in progress. And in line with the inclusive and collaborative culture experienced to date, this project is being approached in an equally consultative manner, where all departments are encouraged to contribute thoughts and ideas to help shape a solution, to benefit all team-members.

Pros

I have been with Iris for approximately 5 months and have been incredibly impressed. The people I work with from my peers, leadership (including executive leadership) and my team, are amazing. Building relationships has been easy as most of the employees are open to it, are very collaborative and genuinely want to help! Iris is also focused on equality and ensure we all have a fair opportunity for growth. While we have a lot to do here, it is clear that we are valued.

Cons

As a rapidly growing organization, we have some growing pains and some foundational processes, systems and flow that need to be updated and/or adjusted, but nothing that won't be fixed over time.
