Pros
Great work/life balance and smart coworkers who really care about doing a good job. The salary is generous and there is definately room for promotion and to grow (in the right department). The pharma knowledge, skills gained and access to data is vast and serves as a huge foot in the door for working in a pharma company.
Cons
In the past year or so, data quality has continued to drop and the focus on clients has all but disappeared. Client complaints (and cancellations) are increasing and unfortunately the current senior management are so money-driven that nothing is done. Promotion opportunities and the quality of your coworkers often depends on which department you're in. High achievers are often moved to consulting while long-term low achievers end up in production, which creates major issues when the very people that are supposed to maintain data quality don't have the ability or qualifications to do their jobs properly.
