Pros
When I first joined IQPC I did not know what to expect, however, as I have grown my career here I couldn't love this office more. The opportunities for growth are tremendous and the financial payouts for me every month show it. This office is "fast paced" and it is a value based sell which turns you into an "executive and consultant" versus a door to door salesman. When you are selling here, you are essentially running your own business with the security of a paycheck. You manage your campaign from start to finish while getting to work with some of the most prominent executives in the world. People that do well here typically are outgoing, intelligent, have a good understanding of the commercial world, and are looking for growth and eager to learn. You have to work with Excel and Microsoft often, and if you are not organized you may lose opportunities because there is a lot to do! but you will never be bored......... Good work-life balance, everyone here has good morals and home values. Get to travel to 5-star resorts all around the nation once every few months.
Cons
Can be very challenging for those with customer service backgrounds or who have traditionally feature pitched in previous sales positions. You get leads given to you from the marketing team as well as from sales support reps, but lead generation takes some time to understand. Once the first few weeks of "ramp up" and training are finished, you should be able to hit the ground running. Not an environment where you will be micromanaged so it is not for those that need constant "babying", you will receive plenty of guidance and help but you are expected to speak up if you don't understand something or management will assume you are onto the next step! can be challenging for those with customer service backgrounds.
