      Pros

      Provided something to write onto a resume and gave me something to do outside of school.

      Cons

      There wasn't much to learn. Worked on several aspects of their platform and it was trying to write code with redone methods of already basic features of the programming language. If a consumer of their platform was writing their own scripts all it did was make it more difficult with less documentation and resources at their disposal.

      Pros

      Gain practical experience of software and web development and good understanding of trading mechanism in the process of developing client platform.

      Cons

      This is a distance virtual intern, so sometimes it is not so convenient to communicate with the manager.
