Pros

Very patient focused. When they say they are they really mean it. You will work with very passionate and driven employees. Size - If you are looking for a well rounded, wide sweeping experience where you dip your toes into many different topics, projects or functions this is the place. You will be exposed to many sides of the business and learn a lot in a company this size. If you embrace it, it'll make you a more well rounded business partner for your next role. Good salary and benefits. Really make an effort to retain employees. Offices are really nice. WFH policy is flexible.

Cons

Decentralized model, global is often out of touch with sites and how they function. Lots of systems/processes are localized that should be globalized, makes it extremely hard to navigate basic things like getting a PO# cut. When they try to globalize a process, its very disorganized, connecting functions not considered, so the process becomes even more cumbersome for the end user. They need to simplify, connect cross functional processes together and get away from home grown IT systems. Hierarchical/ Top heavy - consistently has plagued Ipsen. Half the time its who you know and not your performance that gets you promoted or considered. Lots of directors, managers and not a lot of doers. Makes things move very slowly through the decision process and too many stakeholders to consult.

Pros

Ipsen continues to offer a mission‑driven environment where teams are genuinely committed to improving outcomes for patients and society, and that sense of purpose shows up in the day‑to‑day culture. Collaboration across functions is strong, and there are meaningful opportunities to contribute to strategy, development, and cross‑functional problem‑solving. We have an amazing team filled with valuable talents.

Cons

The pace of change and evolving priorities can sometimes create ambiguity, and some processes still require tighter alignment to reduce friction and improve consistency. Development pathways and communication around long‑term strategy can feel uneven depending on the team. However, Ipsen remains a place where impact, collaboration, and purpose are real strengths, with room to continue strengthening operational clarity and consistency as the organization grows, which is an achievement.

Pros

Some nice colleagues. Good perks.

Cons

High leadership turnover and lack of transparency and direction. A few toxic individuals are running the show, promoting inexperienced employees at the expense of competent ones.
