Pros

Working remotely, and some great colleagues.

Now LOCOMOTIVE (formerly IMS Marketing), too many talented people leave feeling defeated, undervalued and relieved to be gone. It has become a familiar occurrence recently to receive yet another email announcing an employee’s departure, often without colleagues being given the opportunity to say goodbye. Employees are expected to give their all, yet support, recognition and basic empathy are often in short supply. The result is an environment where people spend more time protecting themselves than growing professionally, and where trust in leadership is virtually non-existent. An extremely toxic culture that bears little resemblance to the image portrayed on social media.

Not really sure there is any bar lots of people in the same situation as you find your self

Bonuses promised - don’t happen Increments - so tiny that in 3 years your current salary is so far below why at you started on you have to go to improve things Workload - more more more faster faster Client - how much can we get from them Ima now locomotive is a lean mean money making machine - keep the head count down - let’s leverage Ai so over worked employees can still be over worked Previous reviews describe a cult like set up - regular emails stating x will be finishing up today - even for people with 9 years service - imagine 9 years and you don’t event get to say good bye to your colleagues your just out. T he global head (formerly Irish head) can’t take any criticism - challenge him and you’ll be out the door quicker than you can say p45 but yet perfectly ok for him to slate you in front of colleagues. The harder you work here the more you get to do - but yet same increment as people barely scraping by. My advice if you get an offer - run as fast as you can and do nt look back. Do nt believe the large global clients spiel - most money still comes from providing small Irish SME’s with strategies they don’t want or need funded by the Irish taxpayer via enterprise Ireland.
