Pros

VERY flexible hours (you can ask for any days off and they will give it to you, mostly to save them money) You get to experience fun and famous events such as the Miami Open and South Beach Wine & Food Festival

Cons

- Horrible pay rate (you will either get $10-12 an hour), around $350 or less a week after tax deductions. - They don't offer benefits, zero, none. You will not even be part of WME | IMG as they will offer you a contract where you are hired by a company named PayReel. Basically all your paychecks will come from PayReel and not IMG. - High turnover rate, no one there has worked more than a year- mostly all are 19-21 year old interns. - There no sense of leadership in that office, it's a free for all. - The ticket office employees are largely excluded from company events, you will notice that no other department interacts with the ticket office. - ZERO chance of moving up, you will come and stay as a $10-$11 an hour phone representative for at least 2+ years. - They will ask you to make outbound sales without giving you any commission - They are very stingy when it comes to lunch time, they will pressure you into eating at your desk to keep answering calls/emails and will only give you 30 minutes for lunch. If you take the regular 1 hour lunch break you will hear about it. - You will never get to know anyone in the office as you will find yourself with new staff every 6+ months. - For you the reader, if I were you- I would only accept working when there are events going on and avoid office work.
