Pros
- Great manager and colleagues. All very supportive and want to find new ways to succeed. - Techs are top notch (just not enough of them) - The company does care but has tunnel vision
Cons
- Getting anything done is an exercise in frustration. Not intentionally though. They've been so stuck in their ways that they haven't really looked into automating certain processes or just getting rid of some things. - Marketing cares but since the marketing system and Salesforce don't really communicate well, this causes more manual entry work for sales reps. New prospects get blasted with all marketing emails as soon as they are put in as opposed of filtering content to them based on attributes. Also, notifications for leads, form responses, etc are not to be counted on. Not only does marketing have their own "criteria" for those responses, you don't get notified of it. On the other side, sometimes a lead will be passed that has a 4/5 rating but will be a firm that doesn't exist anymore or someone who hasn't been there for years. This needs to be overhauled and streamlined. Get rid of Eloqua and get something lthat has API built in for Salesforce. - Not much in terms of work/life balance. Reps have to stay on top of an incredible amount of software and services, busy work, plus with the problems mentioned above, you have to constantly manually enter new contact/company info into Salesforce. Constant emails and not really any boundaries on when something pop ups. Working after hours is encouraged quite a bit. The better you are at your job, regardless of role, the busier you are. If internal processes were cleaned up a bit, then this wouldn't be an issue. - The new business model from Autodesk is changing things up completely, and not for the better. Lots of uncertainty with subscription renewals and commission income. Services are being pushed hard but only so much you can do. Lots of people have left in the past 6 months, being a reseller is now a dying breed.
