Pros
IIMAK is a great place to work, contribute, and build your career. Leadership is open to listening to ideas and is willing to drive change. The company, up to the CEO level, is leading what they are calling a "Challenge Culture" and I see improvements in many areas. It is perfectly acceptable to challenge the status quo and to make improvements to your work. People have a shared respect for one another and genuinely enjoy working together. There is also a good deal of recognition including Kudos awards, summer picnics, year-end parties, mini quarterly events, generous gift cards during the holidays, celebrations for safety awards, and more. When good things happen, it is recognized and celebrated. Pay and benefits are also very good. The 401(k) is excellent. We have a really great on-site gym that is stacked with equipment which you can use 24/7.
Cons
Some parts of the building are old and tired and require added updates or investments.
