Pros
Good mission and good benefits. Good opportunity if you're looking to further research career (but there is a cap in growth opportunities if you don't have a PhD)
Cons
Toxic and unsupportive work environment, very cliquey, poor management, favoritism. High turnover on Finance and HR team with no plans or care to improve retention (several employees left less than a year in). No investment in professional development for Admin employees. Employees are underpaid. Unstable funding creates an environment of uncertainty. Inefficient - every step in processing needs to be approved by leadership. HR cares more about outward optics than about employee well-being. Tenured employees are prioritized for growth even if they aren't fit for leadership. Avoid if you can.
