Pros

The culture is okay, and the people are generally nice. There are a handful who are genuinely great. However, there’s nothing particularly special about the agency, to be honest. You’re simply there to work and share the same fridge to store your lunch.

Cons

This place feels like being in a chicken cage. There is a complete lack of transparency—particularly from the person who managed me during my time there. They were avoidant and made me feel as though I was set up to fail, delegating an excessive amount of work and projects while subtly micromanaging. It was very evident. They seemed desperate to get work done before the year-end and were focused on draining someone else’s hard work, with a strong sense that you could be discarded once everything was finished. The induction process was not robust, and overall processes are extremely poor. Talented people leave because of the lack of transparency, weak processes, and premature management practices. There is a lot of backstabbing, and people continue to speak badly about those who have left, as well as about colleagues within the office who have nothing to do with them. Some staff from different departments even asked me to spare time to help with their projects because they wanted to avoid begging within their own teams. Teams are at war with each other, and the level of desperation goes far beyond what is healthy. I don’t have a major issue with the company itself, but I have seen individuals foster this kind of workplace nightmare. Alcohol seems to be the only thing lifting morale and defining the culture within the agency.

Pros

IDX gives you room to actually do your job. The leadership team trusts experienced people to think, challenge ideas, and make decisions instead of micromanaging. Collaboration across teams is real, not just something talked about in meetings. Smart people, solid process, and a genuine push to adapt as marketing and AI continue to evolve. If you care about outcomes and not just optics, this is a good place to work. There’s also a healthy respect for work life balance, especially compared to many agencies. Expectations are clear, communication is direct, and performance is measured on impact rather than hours logged.

Cons

Like most growing organizations, things can move fast and priorities can shift. That can be uncomfortable if you need everything perfectly defined before moving forward. Some processes are still evolving, which is the tradeoff for not being overly rigid.

Pros

The culture here is a standout. People are genuinely collaborative, helpful, and respectful of each other’s time. As a Project Manager in a performance marketing environment, I’ve appreciated how cross-functional teams partner to solve problems quickly and keep work moving. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and there’s a healthy emphasis on work-life balance, which makes it easier to do great work without burning out.

Cons

There is a documented 30-day ramp for new hires, which is helpful, but the learning curve can still be steep depending on the role/team. You need to be a strong self-starter to consistently hit that timeline, and some processes are learned through experience rather than through fully standardized, role-specific training.
