Pros
Some of the people I worked with were awesome! Made some lifelong friends there, but then a lot of others were very fake. Free vitamins for all employees.
Cons
If you aren't apart of the "clique" in the office, you can forget about any kind of perks. The advocates are treated like the red headed step child. They don't get any of the perks, bonuses, or get to be apart of the fun. Advocates are left out of everything. When there are potlucks or lunches, the advocates are asked to stay behind and work at their desks, or they are split into groups, keeping the entire "team" from celebrating together. Company doesn't hire from within like they promise. There are a lot of events for corporate to participate in, but only if you aren't an advocate. Although the Independent Associates would much rather spend their time with the advocates that they actually talk to and work with on a daily basis. Many times I was asked if we could go on trips, or events and when I told them we couldn't go, they would say they don't want to see the people they don't know, they'd much rather see the advocates at the events, since they "know" the advocates. (Notice the good reviews don't come from advocates!!)
