Pros
Good mix of young professionals & experienced management, iWomen is nice
Cons
The Local Broadcast dept. is a mess at all times. Management & Account Directors do not trust anyone unless you have been working there for 10-15 years. If you are young and new to the company, expect terrible training - Quote directly from Local Broadcast manager > "We fit about 6 months of training into 2 weeks" - I was not able to attend all training sessions because after waiting 2 months after starting this position for there to be "more" new employees in my training sessions, I was so busy with the work I learned on the fly that I couldn't learn anything else because for some reason I was put with a Senior Buyer with an unusually busy desk, so when it was important for me to learn new aspects and training tools, I wasn't able to. No matter how many times I brought this issue to their attention, all parties - buyer, manager, account directors and executives - never gave me a shot to ask my questions, let alone the time to really learn the job. Instead, they gave up and pushed me out.
