Pros
- Teammates are usually friendly. - If you are lucky, you may work on quite nice projects that the company can get by offering low costs to the clients, which tactic they can afford by paying very low salaries to employees and investing near to nothing on the facilities and employee wellbeing.
Cons
The bad reputation of the company precedes them so much that other colleagues working there for a long time warned be about this as well, so it is a known fact among current and former employees. When I joined them I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but their terrible reputation was confirmed unfortunately. - After a while you work there and start knowing people you become aware that management, producers, Human Resources people, some of the supervisors and leads are constantly lying to you on different matters, from technical ones to very important contract related plans they have. They are very dangerous and dishonest as they keep a friendly face/attitude while doing this, so trying to fool you into thinking they are genuine. - Very dangerous severe dishonesty on important contract related matters from management. - If you are unlucky you will have to work with supervisors and leads which are as slimy and dishonest as the management. This depends on the project you are on though. -They do not pay RRSP (pensioning). Salaries are about half the average for similar position in other companies in Vancouver.
