Pros

I like what I do. I like my coworkers. I also like the flexibility.

Cons

I have been at ICF for a decade now. The pay is not competitive and once they lock you into a salary, you can spend years jumping through hoops of promises before you realize you will never actually get more than a 3-5% cost of living increase per year. No bonuses. ICF had highest earnings in 2020 and it all goes to .. well the rumor is stockholders. We didn’t get an extra day off or bonus and they required a impossible to get doctors notes to be reimbursed for home office chairs during the pandemic. I am actually getting poorer.. much poorer, the longer I work here given inflation and lack of pay increases. Lots of promises, low delivery. They hire new staff instead of giving pay increases or listening to employees about issues. I have read through many of the response comments left by ICF to those stating this and that is exactly the kind of wordy run around your get, in person, instead of addressing issues or giving raises.

Thank you for taking time to share you feedback. ICF annually audits its salaries and compensation against other companies within the industry. Also, the annual impact conversation with your manager is a dedicated time for you to discuss this with your manager. Impact conversations are exactly that: a conversation for you to explain and identify the impact you have contributed within your role at ICF. Impact conversations don't have to be only an annual thing either. You and your manager can schedule quarterly check ins to see how your performance goals align. -AP
