Pros
I have sat here for over 1 hour thinking of anything that could be listed as a Pro and there is nothing I can come up with. This is not because of being mad but literally there are none. Only one is that in management, nothing you do, say or are involved in can get your fired. Physical violence? You can still stay at work without consequences. Fired before for issues? You will be rehired as a permanent employee. If these are pluses for you then this is your company.
Cons
Where to begin... For the past 13 months the OB facility has been on a rotating shift schedule causing employees to have to change from 1st to 2nd every week. Changing shifts every other week is causing severe mental and physical stresses on the hourly employees with work histories being measured in hours now and not weeks or months or years. Employees average less then 1 day onsite before walking out and quitting. No increases in headcount for over 13 months even though 1500+ people have been hired and onboarded the site is still less then 300 employees total. Currently they are hiring people fulltime and bypassing the temps that have been working for over a year trying to become permanent. Hyve management does not have any care for their employees. Call overtime every single weekend for over 18 months now and even though its optional, if you decline you will be targeted for termination. Use intimidation to force you to work Saturdays even if you have to work until midnight the previous day. Again they do not care. They allow open, hostile work environments, sexual harassment occurs daily along with racial discrimination. Only the people who have agreed to openly lie about internal issues are promoted and if you are attempting to be honest, you will be targeted by the primary group of friends for termination. HR is non existent and incompetent. No matter what issue is taken to them, they immediately run to management to let them know the name of the employee complaining and complaint and then begin working to have them terminated. HR forces employees to sit at home for weeks and even months due to supposed covid contact even if they have a test and on return proceed to force them to use all of their vacation and sick time to prevent any future time off events. Management is not forced to do the same however and can come and go as they want. There are no lunches and they force you to work non-stop all day except what they call "breaks" but the production area is so far from the break rooms they know you cannot make it in time and either will be written up for being late or wont go. Environment is so appalling and poor they are now forced to rehire terminations and blacklisted former employees to try and keep people onsite, going as far as calling current employees and offering them jobs. Daily 25-35% of the workforce does not even show up to work here. Employees have 40+ points and supervisors are told to ignore the attendance policy but are also written up when they cannot meet their goals. Refused to state building was closed during snow storm to force everyone to have to use sick and vacation time or go without pay. Certain people's race are targeted immediately upon hiring for termination by upper management and relayed to floor management for execution. This place is a commercial for EEOC complaints. Managements average experience is less then 6 months with some able to be measured in weeks. There was one department everyone went to for help that was knowledgeable and caring and had highly competent and intelligent people but it seems even they have finally given up recently and are all currently searching for other jobs. We now have no one left who cares about any of us. More or less you can work here in any capacity without any experience or qualification as long as you tell them what they want to hear. If you are qualified, get ready to be targeted by the rest and treated like absolute garbage along with spending 95% of your time in HR being told someone else filled another complaint against you even if they are fake. You will not get your chance at a defense and are automatically guilty if you oppose the internal faction. Oh employee theft is a daily occurrence here with 3 employees having active OB warrants for CC theft and even though management knows, they are still employed and stealing fellow coworkers money and credit cards today. I have never met anyone who did not regret working here and if it were not for the virus issues, no one would be here except the worse of the worse. Any other review is staged and done to keep the numbers in an average range. Corporate is well aware of everything happening here and plays "ignorant" when asked about it or confronted. Only rainbows and puppy dogs are allowed to be spoken at Hyve. Anything negative will result in your termination. Please avoid at all costs for your own safety and security.
