Pros
Hyland genuinely cares about its' employees, their families, their happiness and their satisfaction in their work life. The perks are well documented and well publicized, but the reality is that a lot of flexibility and trust are granted to employees who demonstrate that they need and appreciate these things and earn them through hard work and loyalty. I'm surrounded by very smart, passionate people and it forces me to work harder and improve my own performance just to match their contributions. So if you're looking for a challenging environment, but one that rewards you for your hard work and commitment, you'll find the "hype" about a healthy work-life balance and Hyland's commitment to being a great place to work is legitimate and sincere.
Cons
As many others have said, you might be able to make more working somewhere else. But if you factor in total compensation, including 401 (k) matching, profit sharing, performance bonuses and all of the "perks", the total comp is appropriate for most positions, and the quality of life you can have, particularly if you work at Corporate in Cleveland, is excellent.
