Great personnel at all levels. Firm provides ample training and career opportunities. Above average compensation and benefits package for a firm of its tier. Great opportunity for any career stage. Law firms typically struggle with IT support and utilizing modern technology but not at Hunton.

No cons specific to this firm. Expect the typical cons of working in high volume litigation and big law such as long hours, high turnover, and last minute deadlines.

Small office, parking inside the building, 20 days backup childcare inside the building, summer event, Christmas dinner, up to date with ai and technology. They don't match, but contribute to your 401k. I really enjoyed working with the Partners in my own practice group.

Always understaffed so you have to cover 1-5 more attorneys then the ones you're already assigned to. No bonuses (merit bonus if you are exceptional and go above and beyond your desk requirements is $1-2k). When taking time off you have to ask other secretaries to provide coverage for your desk. Team concept doesn't work since it's a small office and everyone has to cross-train.
