Pros
Small office, parking inside the building, 20 days backup childcare inside the building, summer event, Christmas dinner, up to date with ai and technology. They don't match, but contribute to your 401k. I really enjoyed working with the Partners in my own practice group.
Cons
Always understaffed so you have to cover 1-5 more attorneys then the ones you're already assigned to. No bonuses (merit bonus if you are exceptional and go above and beyond your desk requirements is $1-2k). When taking time off you have to ask other secretaries to provide coverage for your desk. Team concept doesn't work since it's a small office and everyone has to cross-train.
