This has been the most challenging work experience I’ve had so far. The company is heavily understaffed, and it’s clear they rely on external consultants (from many different companies) to keep things afloat. The environment is incredibly chaotic—there’s little to no planning, yet everything is treated as urgent. You’re often expected to deliver results under unrealistic conditions, without proper support.
Onboarding is practically non-existent, and there’s a concerning trend of hiring juniors or interns and expecting them to take on senior-level responsibilities. Unsurprisingly, this leads to unstable solutions, which eventually require expensive consultants to fix—essentially canceling out any cost savings from under-hiring.
The workload is unmanageable, and the amount of tech debt makes it feel like you’re constantly putting out fires rather than making real progress.
