Pros

Ageing product portfolio still holds its own in a crowded market Humanscale story is liked and credible Humanscale sales training is second to none

Cons

In some markets, Humanscale does not register as a local business entity, which means "staff" conduct duties as independent contractors. In some ways this could be considered ok, but given retirement, insurance and tax obligations are deferred to the "employee", it's a stretch to say the company has the best intentions for their teams (or the greater community), when the most basic operational obligations are avoided by utilising controversial loop holes.

Pros

If you get the right manager, you can grow and advance

Cons

What used to pass for a tolerable setup—limping along with a hybrid schedule of just 2-3 days in the office—has been abruptly torpedoed by the CEO's arbitrary decree demanding everyone drag themselves back 4-5 days a week, with zero warning. It's a glaring display of absentee leadership: a toxic "do as I say, not as I do" culture where the higher-ups issue edicts from on high while exempting themselves from the drudgery they impose on the rest of us. To add insult to injury, both Piscataway locations cram office space right alongside warehouses, turning every workday into an assault of relentless industrial racket—endless banging, hammering, grinding, squeaking, beeping, and cacophony bleeding through the walls, making focused work an absolute nightmare and concentration practically impossible.
