Really interesting equipment and places you get sent. They are good about sending you to classes and certifications courses for working offshore/maritime.

Zero schedule predictability, don’t know when you’ll be sent on a job and for how long, symptom of the field service job but can still be frustrating. Also lacking a formal training program or any real thought into which jobs the “new guys” will be sent on so you miss out on getting exposed to certain types of repairs or troubleshooting.

Nice people. Engineering Manager - Matt Middleton is a very, very nice person. Easy to get along with. And he has lots of experience in the type of work that Huisman does.

As with everything in O&G right now - work is slow. Projects hard to come by. Not Huisman's fault - but not much work to do. And projects that do come along are generally small.
