Pros

Free Lunch Snacks in evening is free Spot cab in evening Dinner is free All admin facilities are really good. I have met with few excellent employees in this company.

Cons

Very poor management most of the old employees have director title. In each floor you will get minimum 3 to 4 director HSC have very limited project if you are in project then it's OK for you but if you are in bench then they will put you in any technology/domain without asking your interest if you said yes then it's good otherwise you are in trouble. These directors tag guy thinks they are godfather in company and they can force you for any technology/domain to work without asking your interest if you said no then life would be tough for you. This company nowadays is becoming consultancy ie they are hiring employees and dumping them to their client place. 4 years back this company was good but nowadays it's moving toward consultancy,60% employees are working on client side.In near Future this company will become consultancy because they have very limited project and their passion towards consultancy work. I have seen few of directors which don't do any work they are just coming to office having lunch, surfing internet and enjoying their life in hsc . For them working in HSC is equivalent to government job. No credits, appreciation for work done.Your all credits will go to manager only.Might be this was the only case in my team.If you are good in butter up with manager then this company is for you. Once you resigned all the previous work done by you would be zero. That time they will do all type of politics with employee to harass. Please stop doing this kind of politics if you can not give appreciation to employee for work done then definitely employee have other options to look outside.Don't think they are slave. Worst managers i have seen in my career they use bad language/abusive words, they treat employee as labor. Once you resigned they will assign work in such a manner that is practically not possible to complete in given time span.I will not write name of the manager over here because that is against glassdoor policies. Will not recommend anyone to join this company. Company will offer good salary if you are a early joinee but guys please believe me don't join this company if your are getting good offer from this company you will get good money but your work life balance will get hell. Join only if you don't have any other option and you want to ruin your skills set. Join at your own risk!!

Pros

Great learning environment overall, especially if mentored under the right type of person (this factor is critical especially if employed in its India office - most US-based Hughes Systique and Hughes Networks Systems employees - techies or managers - are truly world-class). Great working environment in some projects and groups - the good managers and leads are truly awesome!!!

Cons

Extremely top-heavy org structure - about 40% employees have a 'manager' tag, and about 20% of all employees have corner offices. Number of total employees has remained stagnant over the last 5 years or so - a BIG negative for an aspiring IT Services major. Business acumen of some (not all) of the senior management folks is questionable. House of Extremes - the bad managers can be pathetic at best, horrendous at worst. Sycophantic culture has permeated some parts of the company. Generally considered to be a retirement resort for all senior management types (most of whom have been peers from Hughes Software Systems/Flextronics Software Systems/Aricent). Your chances of vertical growth beyond Senior Principal Engineer/Engineer Manager are next to nil if you are not of the right pedigree (read: an Aricent/HNS/HSS/FSS alumnus).
