Pros
A good platform for career growth for a junior engineer to learn more and in dept about telecommunication infrastructure and the cutting-edge gears/products in telco. Basic salary is considered adequate but since they are just surpassed Ericsson in term of revenue, they should offer a competitive salary. But once you are assigned to an oversea projects, your montly total income is more than double, including travel allowances. Office ambiance is quite supportive, colleagues are supportive & friendly with a various of multinationalities.
Cons
Lack of chinese language proficiency can limit your career growth in the company since you need that language to communicate with R&D for critical issue/alarm onsite. Most of product training in Shezhen is conducted in Chinese, so it limits your travel to HQ as well. Quite hard to find life balancing between work and life because when you are assigned to a project, expect to work on weekends.
