Pros

The is the best facility I have worked at hands down. There are very few things that we find out about after the fact or in the news. I feel that upper management/CEO are transparent. Methodist cares about it's staff and it's patients. This is evident in many aspects towards staff in yearly employee parties, bonuses for patient satisfaction, and most importantly during COVID. Other hospitals made employees use their own PTO Houston Methodist found creative ways to utilize employees.

Cons

Their stance on the GLP-1 injections. The number of hoops and the ultimate end result. Once the weight has been lost and or weight loss hits a plateau payment for the GLP-1 injections will stop. Obesity is a chronic disease just like high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol. Just because blood pressure is back to a normal range the medication is not stopped.

Pros

Chill, they take care of us.

Cons

No cons, love this company and our team. Maybe just the field of physical therapy there’s no advancement really but that’s a profession issue.
