Pros
Students are eager to learn, summers off, holidays, personal and sick days. Resources are available to bolster student learning and growth.
Cons
Budget cuts, principals only care about STAAR, Telpas and other standardized testing scores. Not many competent people in leadership positions. Poor performing school and other factors make it hard to recruit good candidates.
