Great values and very mission driven. Things are moving and growing fast in a startup organization that really cares about the impact we make in our community but also the impact we make with the people that work here too. The best culture I have ever had in an org and I have had many great ones. The CEO is direct, driven, curious but also kind and caring. You don't get that in many orgs. If you are driven and don't need full systems built out and are curious about helping build them this is a great place. Oh and did I mention we have fun!!

I don't see this as a Con but want people to know that the company is Very fast, changing and not all systems are in place. You need to be willing to help build them out or you will be left behind. You need to have curiosity, drive and passion for the Non-profit space but also be able to move fast and show bias 4 action!

Strong team atmosphere where people are focused on getting people housed. We're not a typical nonprofit that is bureaucratic and slow. We’re a startup expanding our impact quickly while we build processes. The work is mission-driven, and it’s motivating to see the direct connection to helping people in need. Leadership is approachable and open to feedback, and there’s a lot of trust given to employees to take ownership and make decisions. With the organization growing, there are real opportunities to stretch into new responsibilities. The culture is flexible, supportive of work-life balance, and grounded in values like empathy, transparency, and bias for action. Most importantly, colleagues genuinely want each other to succeed.

Because we’re growing quickly and building processes as we go, things can sometimes feel unstructured or change fast. Priorities shift as we figure out what works best, and not everything is fully defined yet. This pace can be exciting, but it also means you have to be comfortable with ambiguity and less formal systems than you’d find in a larger, more established nonprofit.
