Pros
I work in a smaller firm of only a handful of employees, so it is a personal environment, usually with flexibility. Its more friendly.
Cons
Due to it being a small company, with no real vision, there is no structure, no salary ladders, no path to follow. You have to hope for someone in the office to be a valuable mentor to you, otherwise, you will have a slow painful and uncertain road ahead of you. There are no templates, nothing to help any new employee to get start up. Also, vritually no benefits due to being such a small firm (even though its part of a large company of 60+ offices worldwide).
