Pros
Family-like atmosphere, no dumb questions
Training at any time or growing your skillset is not only encouraged but paid for
Lovely office, option to work 100% remote
Understanding of software development at every level of the company, no unicorn requests
Gaming nights, work parties, gifts/swag commonly given out
Very relaxed PTO system, trust-based
Skilled team members, some of the smartest in the industry, but still very kind people
Run like a startup on the front facing side, run like a stable long-term business on the back facing side. Best of both worlds
Accepting and protective management, forward-thinking leaders
Consistent feeling of everyone being in it together, nobody's left behind
Movement wherever you want, back end, front end, devops, etc
Cons
Slightly lower than average pay (barely a con, I personally think its offset by the quality of the workplace)
Benefits are a bit lackluster, but they are honest about it
Communication hiccups can happen sometimes due to the hybrid remote system
