Pros
I’ve been at Hometree for around six months, and it’s genuinely been one of the best places I’ve worked. Everyone has been welcoming, supportive, and happy to help, which made settling in very easy. The engineering culture encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning, and there’s a real sense that people want each other to succeed.
The work is interesting and meaningful, with plenty of opportunities to take ownership and make an impact. Leadership is approachable, communication is transparent, and there’s a healthy level of trust and autonomy. The company also promotes a good work-life balance while maintaining high standards.
Cons
As the company continues to grow, some processes are still evolving, which can occasionally lead to changes in priorities. That said, this is fairly typical for a fast-growing company, and the team is always looking for ways to improve.
