Pros
The agency has a good mission.
Cons
Under current leadership, this successful and beloved community nonprofit with a benevolent reputation has turned into a troubled agency. The unprofessional and non-collaborative management style at the agency's top has resulted in the attrition of an extremely high number of staff, volunteers, board members and several long term financial supporters. You have to sign a non-compete and they have threatened legal action against SOCIAL WORKERS who have left and sought employment elsewhere. Volunteers, former staff, current staff, former board members, financial donors and many concerned citizens have raised very specific complaints with the agency's board of directors but they have chosen to maintain the status quo at this time.
