Pros
Based on my experience no pros to share as environment is dominated by fear, control and Favouritism.
Cons
Leadership operates in a tight inner circle focused on self-promotion and appearances rather than accountability or results. Decisions are often based on favoritism, not merit, and competent, ethical employees are regularly sidelined. Many executives prioritize travel and visibility over measurable scientific or business achievements. HR functions more as an enforcement arm than as support for employees. Raising ethical, operational, or compliance concerns can lead to retaliation, exclusion, or quiet removal. Negative feedback, including Gallup surveys, is treated as a threat, pressuring employees into false positivity. Promotions and recognition hinge on loyalty rather than performance. When employees are laid off, leadership often warns that only those who stay quiet will receive better packages — creating an environment of fear and enforced silence. Patient safety is also at risk. Internal and external findings suggest gaps in safety data for some surgical devices. Lawsuits, such as BioZorb, and missing FDA-required documentation highlight serious compliance and safety concerns. Meanwhile, leadership leans heavily on marketing, PR, and outsourcing to mask dysfunction. True innovation and scientific credibility are in decline, while misuse of resources, and unethical behavior go largely unchecked. Hologic’s public image no longer reflects reality. Fear-driven leadership, fake positivity, and misuse of power harm employees and jeopardize patient safety, innovation, and trust.
