Pros

Underground parking for Managers, most people working there are friendly, IT support is top notch. Great technology in place, and developers really care about success.

Cons

No vacations, forced to work 50-60 hours per pay period including weekends. Salaried employees must clock in and will be written up if 1 min late, even though you work 50+ hours per pay period. Owner and president has gone absent which is good since he openly hates the company and everyone in it. No real management team, pure chaos due to micromanagement by HR and Ops. Promise of 6,9,12 month reviews however they rarely give them on time and you are more likely to get a pay cut rather than a raise. When the owner enters the building, office doors shut and people hide, if you are caught walking or talking to anyone prepare to be berated and written up. Owner is a tyrant and rules be fear, language and screaming is common, punches monitors and smashes keyboards, truly hates everyone and tells everyone through shocking tantrums. Claim "no politics" however it is running rampant. Lowball salaries are a norm with promises of 90 day increase that never happens. Company is slowly shrinking and will die as they loose customers and virtually no sales staff.

Pros

The environment is healthy and comfortable. Open door policy with management is great and co workers are fun to work with. Plenty of help if needed.

Cons

No cons for the company or employees. The only cons that I see in the reviews are personal and dependent on that individual. Their comments should not reflect on the company.

Pros

Underground parking....for management employees only. Cutting edge technology.

Cons

This is - by far - the worst company I ever worked for. I'm actually embarrassed that I was an employee there! First day on the job you are greeted with the fact that you have two 10 minute breaks, a 30 minute lunch and, regardless of level, you punch in and out for work and lunch (even if you are a Manager or Director). You are also told that it is a privilege to interact with the CEO, however you should never go into his office even if the door is open. If you are invited to meet with him, you are told to bring a pad of paper and something to write with and to remain silent until addressed. Seriously? Most CEOs are smart and extraordinarily busy individuals; however they enjoy interaction with their employees. The benefits are a joke; substandard medical benefits, a minimal number of paid Holidays (less than any other company that i've ever worked for), NO 401k, you don't get a week of paid vacation until after a year of employment, and so on. However the real downfall of this company is the culture. The CEO throws temper tantrums and directs profanity-laced tirades at employees. I've never witnessed people being publicly humiliated by the CEO on regular basis until I worked here. HSI brags about having a "no politics" culture but i found the complete opposite to be true. I would never advise my worst enemy to work at this place. It was simply awful.
