Incredibly friendly staff, professional management, and fantastic support from locals. Regular staff meetings means plenty of feedback about what's working and what isn't. Flexible scheduling fit me perfectly!

No downsides to working here

Hiruko is unique. The emphasis on wellness and strength and artistry and self defense is quite different from many other martial arts schools. There is a wonderful mix of ages and abilities. There is a strong sense of community. There is a deep respect for each student and each student to be able to learn at their own pace. For the upper belts there is a constant set of new challenges- both physical challenges and emotional challenges.

There are no downsides to the work.
