Pros

Decent work-from-home flexibility and a few colleagues who genuinely tried to make the environment better.

Cons

This company markets itself as an HR consulting firm, but in reality, it functions more like a sales-driven fraternity. Many team members have no real background in Human Resources—just look at their LinkedIn profiles. A large portion of the staff comes from unrelated fields, particularly sales and teaching, with no SPHR, PMP, SHRM certifications, or even degrees related to HR or organizational development. Leadership seems more focused on selling “consulting” services than actually delivering meaningful HR expertise. It’s hard to take the work seriously when people without industry experience are tasked with evaluating resumes or advising clients on talent strategy. There’s a huge disconnect between what they promise to clients and what’s actually being delivered behind the scenes.

Pros

From the interview process through onboarding and into the day-to-day, the company has been exactly what they presented themselves to be — a group of genuinely kind, supportive, and passionate people who care deeply about the work they do and about each other. It’s refreshing to join a company where the culture you hear about during interviews actually shows up in real life. The transition into the role has been incredibly smooth. The onboarding process was thoughtful and well-structured, which made it easy to ramp up quickly and feel confident jumping right in. I never felt like I was left to figure things out on my own — there’s a real sense of collaboration and willingness to help across the team. What stands out most is the people. Everyone brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to see their teammates succeed. It creates an environment where you feel supported, motivated, and excited to contribute. Overall, it’s been an amazing transition and I’m really grateful to be part of such a great team.

Cons

Approaching six months here, and I genuinely can’t think of any cons to share at this time.

Pros

- Good leadership and management, no micromanagers - Ability to scale: bring in jobs, and have the team help you fill - They make efforts to invest in technology and workflows for recruiters - Always something to work on, busy group - High Bar for Excellence - Great culture

Cons

- Success isn't handed to you here. You have to proactively seek out opportunities and be agile to get things done. There is no hand-holding, so it can be a sink or swim environment for those who aren't naturally proactive.
