Pros

I met great people that will be lifelong friends, unfortunately bonding over the same thing- being treated like dirt.

Cons

Where do I start… 1. Being screamed by the President in front of others. She lacks the emotional intelligence and self control to be running a business. Period. Additionally, she will imply YOU should be lucky to have a job there but will never thank YOU in a meaningful way for all your work and endless hours. 2. President and other members of leadership try to weasel their war into your personal life. They will also gossip and make derogatory comments about you in management meetings. 3. Zero flexibility. You’re expected to work 50-55+ hours a week, you’re not allowed to leave until work is done (well after 5 pm) but if you need to leave early another day or have a doctors appointment, you have to use your PTO time. 4. You will be told there are commissions or bonuses when you start but will be given a million excuses as to why you won’t receive them. 5. To move up in the company, you have to play the political games. 6. You will receive the lowest pay for the industry but work just as hard.

Pros

People at some offices are very nice and hard working. That's about it.

Cons

Where to begin? If you read these reviews and think, these can't be true, they are. The owner is in charge - period. You may be hired with a title, or promised growth, or asked to do something by anyone but her, you need to be ready for disappointment or to get chewed out. Yelling is common, being told how to conduct your personal life, gossip, body shaming, belittling, demeaning emails, being embarrassed in meetings with your peers.... all daily occurrences. Does this sound more like a bad high school bully scene? Bingo! Everyone lives in fear of the "popular" girl, except she is the owner, so not only can she embarrass you, she can fire you, make you work FAR more hours than 40 regularly. Why do people stay? FEAR, or because they have been belittled for so long they forget that they actually have value. So, before you accept a job there - ask the people that are working, do you get yelled at? How many hours do you work? What is the real culture here? When was your last raise? Did you get the bonus you were told you would get? And then get in your car and get the heck out of there!
