Pros

The product truly has great potential, with nothing like comparable in the textiles industry. We work with the best brands in the world. The employees are wonderful people, jems. They run the company and sincerely attempt to serve the needs of our customers.

Cons

Management of the company resources, including human resources is very poor. There is little respect for employees, workload and time management. Theres a regrettable attitude towards shareholders and our customers by upper management. Work/Life balance. Be aware there is no thorough business process. Its a manufacturing company with no quality assurance manager. This company has a huge employee turn-over. Unfortunately, we lose key staff throughout the year; year over year. With regards to business process and internal guidelines, policies either don't exist or change all the time, and with the huge employee turn-over, there are always questions on how to handle work. Unfortunately its a real challenge for new employees. There are far too many meetings. Its not uncommon to be singled out in meetings and insulted.

Pros

While employed with HDR, the benefits were very good.

Cons

I asked for a minimal cost-of-living increase after two years, exceeded sales goals every month, and was terminated the same day with no notice. The CEO took it personally. The CEO is a good scientist but horrible at running a company. We went through no less than five sales while I was employed, and none lasted more than a year. The CEO insisted on hiring all of them. Last I heard half the long-time administration left in anger.
