Pros

Great community, beautiful location, and often 3 day weekends.

Cons

Incredibly high standards and long hours (80-100 hours a week). Working double shifts or extra work more than what was advertised during interview. Admin treats employees like children and expect the high pressure and long hours to yield good results, and they don’t take feedback well. 10+ people quit before I finally left too, and after that, they ended up having to cut 12 more people from staff due to budget issues. This company is not sustainable and treats their employees like machines rather than human beings. I regret ever working here.

Pros

A great community that provides tons of support throughout the year. You'll learn a ton about our planet, teaching, and teamwork.

Cons

It can be exhausting at times, especially when you have overtime shifts, but everyone there helps each other out as much as possible to make it through the week.

Pros

Beautiful area. Nice people. School schedule means consistent weekends and holidays. You will learn a lot of behavior management skills. You will grow to appreciate how much other jobs don't overwork you.

Cons

The hours are ridiculous especially for how much they pay you. 10 hours to 18 hours a day depending on the shift, assuming you aren't asked to do more. Management seems to believe strongly in work for the sake of work. God forbid you get sick working long stressful hours working alone with 12-16 children. If someone calls out you may very well have to spend over 72 hours straight at work and be expected to be on top of everything the entire time, there are many weeks they will ask you to do this without anyone calling out.
